Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Hungarian company Vajda-papír is creating 50 new jobs at its plant in Dunaföldvár, central Hungary, where the company runs the production of hygienic paper products. The creation of the new jobs is through the HUF 16 billion (€44.608m) factory expansion, which starts in November 2021 and is planned to end in April 2022. Vajda-papír sells its products to Scandinavia, to the Baltic countries and to more than 30 countries in Eastern Central Europe. The Dunaföldvár-based plant is said to be one of the most modern hygienic paper producing plants in the world.
