Austrian wood treatment company Kronospan has announced an investment of 180 million euros to build a new factory in Tortosa (Tarragona). The factory will create 185 direct jobs and 1,500 indirect jobs. The company has also announced that the factory will be operational in 2022. Kronospan has 40 factories around the world and employs 14,500 workers. In Spain, it has two factories in Burgos (Castilla y León) employing 132 people.
