Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
GE Hungary is announcing 100 new jobs in its turbine manufacturing plant in Veresegyház, central Hungary. The hiring for full-time workers is set to start in October 2021, ending in December 2021, due to the parent company investing HUF 10 billion (€27.78m) to expand the Veresegyház plant. GE Hungary is the Hungarian subsidiary of the US industrial company General Electric, which operates four manufacturing sites, three R&D centres and an operations centre in Hungary, with close to 4,000 employees.
