Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
SentinelOne, the American provider of cyber security services, has announced the launch of a new office and innovation centre in Prague where 300 qualified people are to be employed. The company will recruit employees at all levels of expertise and across disciplines, including developers. The new site will house product development functions to augment existing teams in the Americas and Asia as well as elsewhere in Europe. Prague will also serve as SentinelOne's Engineering HQ for Europe. The company is investing more than CZK 1 billion (€ 39 million) in the Czech Republic over the next three years.
The vibrant tech firm was founded in 2013. It offers solutions that include prevention, detection, response and search for threats based on artificial intelligence across end stations, data containers, cloud work tasks and IoT devices within a single autonomous platform.
