Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
American multinational technology company Google has announced that it will create up to 200 new jobs at its office in Wrocław. The company has just expanded its office space as well as initiated new recruitment processes. Google is hiring staff for a new strategic advisory team to advise Europe’s largest advertisers. The company also intends to strengthen its team by working on cloud technologies for its clients across Europe. Google is looking for candidates without experience and specialists in advertising, media, consulting and marketing with knowledge of foreign languages, especially French, German, Polish, Spanish, Italian, Russian as well as others used in the CEE region.
Google was founded in 1998; currently, the company employs about 140,000 people worldwide. The Wrocław branch has been operating since 2007; currently, it employs 100 staff.
