Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US-based global IT services company SoftServe has announced that it will create over 100 jobs at its new software development centre in Gdańsk by the end of 2022. The company is looking for project managers as well as programmers, especially specialists in DevOps, Cloud, Java and Python.
Headquartered in the United States and Ukraine, SoftServe was founded in 1993 in Ukraine. SoftServe specialises in consultancy services and software development; it provides services in the fields of big data, Internet of things, cloud computing, e-commerce and experience design. Currently, the company has 38 offices in nine countries and employs about 12,000 people worldwide. In Poland, the company has been operating since 2014, where it has branches in four locations: Warsaw, Wrocław, Białystok and Gliwice.
