Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Luxoft Romania plans to hire 150 information technology (IT) specialists by the end of 2021. Luxoft was one of the first companies on the Romanian market to implement a 100% remote working system for current and future employees. In December 2020 the company opened its first permanent remote positions and has so far hired over 300 programmers through a remote recruitment process. The company expanded its team in Cluj-Napoca (Cluj County), Iasi (Iasi County), Timisoara (Timis County) and Brasov (Brasov County).
Luxoft Romania is part of the US company DXC Technology, one of the largest providers of business-to-business IT services.
The company entered the Romanian market in 2008 and currently has a workforce of 2,000. Luxoft Romania provides software development services for local and global clients in the telecom, financial and automotive sectors.
