French frozen food distributor Picard has announced the recruitment of 150 people. The group has benefited from the COVID-19 crisis with a turnover increase to €1.7 billion in 2020 (+15% in one year).
The French frozen food market gained 10%, whereas it had previously been declining. During this period, Picard has increased the number of shop openings (19 in the 2020 financial year) which have contributed to this growth. Since the beginning of September, it has been looking for more than 150 permanent positions for its shops, its head office or its home delivery teams. In addition, from mid-October to the beginning of December, the company will be recruiting sales staff and delivery drivers to strengthen its teams for the end-of-year celebrations.
