Description
The e-commerce giant Amazon announced it will open a new distribution centre in San Salvo, province of Chieti, in 2022. As a result, additional 1,000 permanent jobs will be created within three years of its opening.
The new positions created will add to the 3,000 permanent jobs that Amazon has already created in 2021. This new investment is expected to bring the company's total workforce in Italy to 13,500 workers.
