Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Teleperformance Portugal will recruit 3,000 new workers in the country by end-2021, through its international recruitment programme.
The programme offers to international candidates a complete relocation package, aiming at facilitating the integration of each worker, not only in the company but also in Portugal. In addition, the company also provides medical follow-up and psychological support and career progression strategies, through a set of training programmes.
The company is looking for workers that combines enthusiasm and knowledge in specific areas such as health, gaming, tourism and leisure, automation, and content management. Also native language skills are required in several languages, such as Russian, Spanish, Dutch, German, French, and English.
The move comes after the Portuguese branch of the company reported a 20% growth in its customer portfolio in the past 12 months, as well as a 1,000 increase in the number of employees in the first six months of the year.
