Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US-based medical technology company Dexcom is to create 200 new jobs in Vilnius by the end of 2021. The company established a business services centre in Vilnius at the end of 2020 and announced plans to expand the centre’s team by 200 people in 2021. According to the management, the team working in the centre in Vilnius should reach 400 people by 2023. Currently the centre in Vilnius employs 88 employees. The company will be looking for professionals in the areas of product’s technical support, maintenance, quality and finance. The service centre in Vilnius will provide services to their clients in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Dexcom was founded in 1999 in the US. The company develops and distributes diabetes monitoring and control solutions worldwide. The company employs around 3,900 professionals worldwide.
