European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dutch parcel delivery company Red je pakketje announced the opening of a new parcel sorting centre in Rijen. The new sorting centre will employ around 120 people and the company expects that a growth towards 300 employees should be possible. As of August 2021, it is still unclear when the employment effect will take place and when the recruitment will finish.
The location in Rijen was chosen because of its proximity to the cities of Breda and Tilburg as well as excellent connection to several highways. The centre will be the seventh sorting centre of Red je pakketje in the Netherlands, with the company already scouting for an eighth location.
Red je pakketje is a Dutch parcel delivery company specialising in same-day delivery. The company was founded 5 years ago and has been one of the fastest growing Dutch companies in recent years.
