Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Irish-capital consultancy company Accenture is to create around 200 new jobs in Vilnius by July 2023. The company is establishing a new ICT service centre in Vilnius and has already started the recruitment process. The centre in Vilnius will open later in 2021. According to the management, the number of employees in Vilnius centre is expected to grow to 200 over the next few years.
Accenture’s long-term growth strategy in Lithuania will involve close collaboration with the Lithuanian universities and technical schools. The centre will focus on developing and delivering a wide range of technology solutions as well as custom engineering, infrastructure and cloud services to clients worldwide.
Accenture is one of the largest companies providing end-to-end technology and business consultancy services. The company employs more than 537,000 employees, serving clients in more than 120 countries worldwide.
