Description
Fast-food restaurant chain McDonald’s is to create 800 jobs in the Republic of Ireland, across nearly all counties. The new jobs will bring McDonald’s workforce in Ireland to nearly 6,000. The roles are being created to cater for people's growing demand for in restaurants in line with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. The jobs will be in restaurants around the country, including counties Carlow, Cavan, Cork, Dublin, Kerry, Sligo and Westmeath.
McDonald’s have 95 restaurants in Ireland, run by 22 local franchisees.
In 2017, McDonald's created about 140 jobs in Ireland.
