Description
The Romanian subsidiary of the German car component manufacturer, Preh, has announced the creation of 300 new positions by the end of 2021 at its plant in Ghimbav (Brasov County) and at its hardware services centre in Iasi (Iasi County). As of June 2021, the company employs about 2,232 people after adding 305 employees to its workforce during the first quarter of the year. The company is looking for electromechanical installers, engineers, software programmers and car component assemblers.
Preh Romania produces electrical and electronic car components for brands such as Audi, Porsche, BMW and Daimler. In the first quarter of 2021 the company invested € 1.7 million in the development of new projects for Daimler, Volkswagen, BMW and Tesla. An additional € 1.2 million was invested in a new production line and in the upgrading of existing facilities.
