Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Kolektor ATP, a producer of thermoplastic material for the automotive industry in Postojna, is to employ 50 employees. The recruitment will be finished by the end of 2022. The new roles will need to have at least the 5th level of education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and mechatronics.
The company is substituting a low value-added production for a higher one, which aims to secure the sustainable development to the company. Since 2017, the company has invested €50 million into hybrid components made from injection-moulded polymers combined with precision metal parts and functional components for electric and autonomous vehicles. The investment into the product development centre and production is expected to be completed in 2023.
The company currently employs 261 workers.
