Online payments system PayPal will relocate 131 roles from Ireland to other countries following a review of its operational needs. The roles impacted are mainly in the company's operational teams, with 72 jobs in Dundalk and 59 in Dublin. The affected staff have been informed of the plan.
The company is offering voluntary redundancy, with enhanced redundancy and support packages, it said in a statement. The company also pointed out that the decision would be subject to consultation. If the change proceeds, the company will have some 2,700 employees in its Irish sites.
