Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Professional Services firm Deloitte Ireland will create 300 jobs over the next 12 months. One-third of the roles are available immediately and the remaining 200 will be filled over the next year.
The job creation is due to the increased demand for the company's business advisotry services from both local and international clients. The new roles will be across all areas of Deloitte’s business, with the majority in consulting. Roles will cover the areas of regulatory risk, restructuring and transaction services, actuarial services and marketing as well as audit and tax specialists. Areas such as systems engineering, customer design, digital finance, digital supply chain, business operations, data analytics and cognitive technologies will also be recruited.
