Home decor and gardening retail company Leroy Merlin announced plans to create about 160 jobs at its new store in Warsaw in near future. The recruitment process will be initiated soon. The chain has just purchased a site previously used by Tesco; the facility will be adapted by Leroy Merlin accordingly. It will be the eighth location of Leroy Merlin in the city of Warsaw.
The company has been operating in the country since 1994, it runs 68 stores employing over 10,000 people. Previous business expansions were announced in April 2021 (200 jobs created), February 2021 (160 jobs created), January 2021 (102 jobs created), August 2020 (130 jobs created) and February 2020 (150 jobs created).
