Description
As announced on 8 April 2021, the German vehicle manufacturer Binz has officially taken over the former MAN plant in Plauen including the 120 MAN employees. Binz signed the purchase agreement at the end of March 2021, which includes the property, machines and employees. Binz manufactures specialised vehicles for fire and rescue services and intends to manufacture a series of vehicles for the Federal Agency for Technical Relief, THW (Bundesanstalt Technisches Hilfwerk).
Binz has now increased its number of employees by 120 to 340 in Germany.
