Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The temporary employment agency group Lip has announced the recruitment of 200 to 300 employees over the next two years. The group plans to open 24 new branches throughout France over the next 18 months. This development requires an investment of €5 million and should ensure territorial coverage to compete with major players in the temporary agency services area. The new branches are to be set up in towns with more than 50,000 inhabitants.
The group had a turnover of €288 million in 2020 and has 520 employees. It has 134 agencies in France. In the long term, the group intends to double the number of its agencies.
