Description

The French company Treves, a supplier of interior components for the automobile industry, will shut down the Slovenian branch in Trebnje, as a consequence, all 102 workers will lose their jobs.

In January 2021, the plant was hit by a fire that destroyed buildings and machines and the French owner decided not to renovate it due to poor business prospects.

Trebnje factory supplies car parts for Renault’ Revoz, its main client. After 2024, the production of the Renault Twingo model is uncertain, so Treves decided to withdraw from Slovenia. The company will be shut down in September 2021.
