Producer of automotive components Henniges Automotive has announced that it will create 300 new jobs at its plant in Prudnik. The company is to invest €8 million in the expansion of the Prudnik facility. The new production hall is expected to be operational in September 2021. The source reports the company is currently relocating its production activities from the Czech Republic to Poland.
Founded In 1863, Henniges Automotive is a leading global supplier of engineered sealing and anti-vibration components for the automotive industry. In 2015, Henniges Automotives was acquired by AVIC Automotive Systems Holding, a subsidiary of China’s state-owned aerospace and defence conglomerate Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC). In Poland, Henniges Automotive has been operating since 2016; currently, the company employs 250 people in the Prudnik factory.
