Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Germany's automotive component production giant Continental is to create around 40-50 new jobs in its subsidiary in Kaunas by the end of 2021. After more than three years of operation in Lithuania, Automotive Continental Lithuania plans to increase production capacity in Kaunas and will start a new development project with an investment of more than €90 million. The company plans to create 500 new jobs and reach a total of 1,500 employees by 2025. Currently the company employs 326 employees.
Continental is a German multinational automotive parts manufacturing company that was founded in 1871. It offers solutions for vehicles, machines, traffic and transportation. The company employs around 241,000 employees worldwide.
