Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The IT consulting company OCTO Technology has announced the recruitment of 210 employees in 2021 at national level. The COVID-19 health crisis accelerated awareness of the need for digital transformation among many companies. In this context, the demand for certain technological skills has increased tenfold (cloud, data, security, delivery) and OCTO Technology aims to reinforce its team teams with technological and methodological skills. 30% of the new roles are available for recent graduates.
In 2020, OCTO has supported InVivo, Pass Culture, SNCF and Total. Since its acquisition in 2017 by Accenture, OCTO Technology expanded to 600 employees with an annual rate of 1,300 assignments. Four previous recruitment announcements have been recorded in 2020 (200 job creations), in 2019 (200 job creations), in 2018 (140 job creations) and in 2017 (100 job creations).
