European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The traditional Czech engineering company TOS Kuřim, which has been producing machine tools since 1942, announced between 70 and 85 redundancies during February 2021 due to lack of orders last year caused by the COVID-19 crisis. According to the company's HR director, the decline in orders occurred even before the pandemic, but the pandemic has accelerated and significantly deepened the entire crisis.
The company currently employs 255 people.
