Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
American multinational technology company Honeywell has announced that it will create over 100 jobs at its new production facility in Chorzów in 2021. The unit is expected to be launched in April 2021 and will provide advanced automation technology for the logistics industry. The company is looking for specialists in production, operations, materials management, supply chain as well as production managers, engineers, quality controllers and warehouse staff.
Honeywell provides a variety of commercial and consumer products, engineering services and aerospace systems. Honeywell has been operating in Poland since 2019; in the city of Katowice, the company has its Customer Service Centre which currently employs 300 specialists.
Previous business expansion was announced in February 2019 (100 jobs created).
