Description
The Romanian subsidiary of the American process management solutions company, Emerson, created 110 jobs at its new plant in Gilau (Cluj County). The Romanian subsidiary will produce lighting glass (tubes and bulbs) and electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres. In 2020, the company invested €4.5 million into production and IT equipment at the Cluj-Napoca plant and into its Bucharest office.
Emerson has been operating in Romania since 2006 and employs approximately 2,615 people in Cluj-Napoca, Oradea and Bucharest, most of which work at the Cluj-Napoca site.
