Description

Steel mill and defence contractor Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW), a subsidiary of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ, Polish Armaments Group), has announced that it will create 100 new jobs in the city of Stalowa Wola in 2021. The company is looking for constructors, technologists, welders, CNC operators, electrical fitters, locksmiths, mechanics, electronic and automation staff as well as specialists in IT, accounting, controlling, quality control, sales and marketing.

The source also reports that the steel mill created over 130 jobs in 2020.

Founded in 1938, HSW is a defence contractor and steel mill located in Stalowa Wola. Currently, HSW is part of PGZ, the biggest Polish defence enterprise and the main arms supplier for the Polish Armed Forced and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration. PGZ was established by the Polish government to unite state-owned defence companies; the group comprises over 30 companies.
