Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Swedish IT consultancy company Nexer (previously Sigma IT) has announced that it will create 120 new jobs at its unit in Wrocław. Under the programme for 2021-2024, the company is to expand its R&D services into areas such as automotive, industrial digitalisation as well as to focus on cloud, mobile and embedded technologies.
In February 2021, Sigma rebranded as Nexer. The company provides IT services in the field of telecommunication, automotive, defence, energy, health care and public sector. Nexer operates in 9 countries and employs 1,500 people. The company has been operating in Poland since 2017. Employing 80 staff, the Wrocław unit provides services to clients from Sweden, Norway, Finland, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia.
