Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US-based digital business enablement company Altimetrik has announced that it will create 250 jobs at its new office in Wrocław by the end of 2021. The new unit is to meet demands of US-based clients and to support their expansion in Eastern Europe; the Wrocław team will help them tackle challenges with EU compliance, security, business, intellectual property, copyright, and all other aspects required to ensure business success. The company is looking especially for specialists in data analytics and inference.
Altimetrik delivers bite-size outcomes as organisations scale digitalisation to accelerate revenue growth without disrupting ongoing business operations. Currently, the company has its offices in the United States, India, Uruguay, Japan and Canada employing about 2,500 people worldwide.
