Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Euromaster, a subsidiary of the Michelin group specialising in the tyre trade, presented its 2021 corporate strategy by announcing the recruitment of 400 employees in 2021. They will be recruited within the company, without taking into account the franchises. All regions are concerned. Technical fitters are at the heart of this recruitment. These technicians are recruited without a diploma and are trained by the company, which devotes 3% of the wage bill to training each year. Euromaster employs 3,000 people in France and nearly 19,000 in total.
