Description

Lidl, a German multinational supermarket retail chain, has announced significant recruitment plans for its Belgian division. In total approximately 500 people will be hired. These workers are needed to staff 19 existing stores that are being expanded as well as 4 new stores. The Covid-19 crisis has proven to have a positive effect on the turnover of the company. Its national market share increased to approximately 7.3%. The company grew faster than its supermarket competitors last year.
