Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational involved in the production of a variety of construction and other types of equipment and machinery has announced it is looking for 130 new employees. These employees will mainly be active on the sites of Wilrijk and Overijse, both white- and blue-collar workers are needed. The company management states that the company managed to stay afloat and productive during the COVID-19 crisis and is therefore able to increase its activities. In past years, there were already significant investments in the Belgian division, as the international management wants to reinforce its presence in Belgium further and expand.
