The US transport and logistics company XPO Logistics has opened a new warehouse in Eindhoven, creating 100 new jobs.
XPO Logistics sees rapid growth in demand for its services since the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the transition to online shopping.
The 35,000 square metres warehouse will serve as the European distribution centre for Techtronic Industries, a Hong Kong-based manufacturer of power tools and gardening equipment. With the distribution centre, Techtronic can directly access the European market through XPO's large network. XPO Logistics is a logistics company with over 100,000 employees working in 30 countries.
