Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the Indian IT services, consulting and business solutions firm, has announced that it will create 1,500 technology jobs in the UK in 2021. The company made the announcement after a meeting between the UK Trade Secretary and the chief executive of TCS.
The head of TCS UK & Ireland said that the company aimed to attract the ‘brightest talent' and create good jobs across the UK.
TCS is one of the most important providers of IT and IT-enabled services in the UK, working with over 200 companies, including Legal and General, Halfords and Marks & Spencer. The company has operations in 46 countries and employs 469,000 consultants globally.
