Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Japanese motor company Nissan has announced the new plan to incorporate two new projects that would involve the creation of between 150 and 170 new jobs in the coming months in its factory in Ávila, in compliance with the plant conversion agreement signed in 2017.
The factory, located in the Las Hervencias industrial estate, counts 250 employees. These two new projects involve the contract to manufacture the suspension structure of a new model for the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, and the production of replacement bumpers for Nissan.
