Description

Vestas, a large windmills manufacturer, plans to cut 220 employees as a consequence of the acquisition of the company MHI Vestas concluded in December 2020. Of the 220 dismissals, between 150 and 160 workers are to be dismissed in Denmark and the rest in the UK.

The dismissals will affect both supply chain, technology and operations and concerns both land and offshore wind business. The company cannot guarantee that there will not be further dismissals in the near future.
