Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
ESDI, an IT service provider specialised in customer relations whose customers include many retailers (Carrefour, Casino), has announced the recruitment of 100 people. These new job creations come after a recruitment of 40 people at the end of December 2020. The new employees will be telephone advisers and computer technicians who will receive calls on a daily basis. Having won a contract with a major retailer, the company is looking for a variety of profiles. The communication manager explains the company is seeking young people with two or three years of higher education with little experience, as well as people at the end of their careers.
