Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
IT services company Umanis, a French publisher of 'data oriented' business solutions, has announced that it plans to recruit 650 people in 2021: 380 in the region Ile-de-France and 270 in other regions of France. It also plans to hire 20 people in Switzerland and Luxembourg.
The year 2020 has been difficult for the IT services company, but it is banking on 2021 and is recruiting massively in its core business: data. The profiles sought are of a high technical level and will integrate the Umanis Consulting and Delivery Data teams. The management wants to support the 'numerous digital transformation projects that are currently being launched in all companies'.
Founded in 1990, Umanis is the French leader in data, digital and business solutions. In France, it employed 2,041 staff at the end of 2020.
