Reborn Normandie, specialised in plastic recycling, has announced new investments between now and 2023 with around 100 new employees. This subsidiary of the Reborn group (400 employees in France) will install five innovative recycling lines between now and 2023, to process internally 30,000 tonnes of recycled materials, and produce 2 billion pieces of packaging from recycled materials per year. The site will gradually see its storage capacity increase from 5,000 to 8,000 m², with a refurbishment of the existing storage building and the construction of a new 3,500 m² building. The local authorities have pledged their support and assistance, in particular the region, which will finance training schemes by investing €350 million to recruit from areas with high level of unemployment.
