Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Huf Romania, a subsidiary of the automotive supplier Huf Group, specialized in the manufacturing of secure car access and authorization systems, announced the creation of 250 new jobs. The new employees will work at an extended production facility in Arad. 130 people will be hired by May 2021 and another 120 by the end of year.
Apart from the production site in Arad, the company owns three additional facilities in the city of Timisoara, western Romania: its European Software Development Centre, a newly established testing facility and the Shared Service Center Finance of the Group. The Centre employs about 200 engineers working on software development.
Huf Romania was established in 2006 and in 2019 the company employed a total workforce of 528.
