Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The Pilsen-based Škoda Electric, the largest European manufacturer of trolleybuses, is to expand production and create 90 new jobs during 2021. The company plans to invest about CZK 250 million (€9.5 million) and asked the state for an investment incentive in the form of an income tax rebate of CZK 61.1 million (€2.3 million).
Škoda Electric with 760 employees expects a growing demand for electric traction in urban public transport. The company is a long-term profitable company. In 2019, it earned CZK 144 million (€5.5 million) with revenues of CZK 2.23 billion (€85.2 million).
