Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish company Citronex has announced that it will create 300 new jobs at its greenhouses in Ryczywół near Kozienice. The recruitment process will be launched in February 2021, and the unit is expected to be operational in June 2021. The company is to invest about €60 million in the facility which - together with the sorting station and the warehouse - will consist of 24 hectares. The greenhouses will use waste heat from a power plant located nearby.
Citronex was founded in 1998. The company operates in the following sectors: import and distribution of bananas, production and distribution of tomatoes, transport and freight forwarding, truck washes, petrol stations, hotels, restaurants and supermarkets.
