Morrison Telecom Services, the British telecommunications infrastructure services company has announced that it is creating 500 engineering jobs to support the UK-wide project extending the ‘full fibre’ broadband internet network. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the project, as fast internet connection would enable more people to work from home.
The managing director of Morrison Telecom Services said the company has already started recruitment and establishing training facilities.
Morrison Telecom Services specialises in the design, build and maintenance of telecom infrastructure. The ‘full fibre’ project is led by Openreach, with Morrison Telecom Services being responsible for surveying, building and testing in some regions of the country.
