Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Taylor Wimpey, the British residential property developer, has announced the loss of over 100 jobs across the UK.
The restructuring plan involves the removal of one tier of operational management and a series of reductions in central and business unit overhead levels, as well as a rationalisation of London operating structure. The company aims is to save GBP 15 million (€16.5 million) in 2021.
Taylor Wimpey is one of the largest housebuilders in the UK, operating 24 regional businesses across the country. The company also operates in Spain and employs a total of 6,000 people in the two countries.
