Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
ResQ, the British contact centre services provider, has announced the creation of 120 full-time, permanent call centre jobs in Hull, Yorkshire.
The Hull city councillor said that ResQ recruitment news is particularly welcomed, demonstrating the commercial confidence in the city by a leading private-sector employer. ResQ’s chief operations officer underlined the importance of creating new opportunities at this difficult time.
ResQ provides outsourced contact services to its clients, including British Gas, BT and Vodafone. The company has two sites in the north of England, in Hull and Seaham employing 1,350 people.
