Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Concentrix, the call-centre company, world leader in customer care and business processing services, will create 250 new jobs in its offices in Cagliari and Lecce by the end of 2021.
The decision follows the announcement of the telecommunication company Fastweb to bring back part of its customer care activities currently carried out abroad (reshoring). The company aims to enhance customer service assistance and to offer an experience of excellence in terms of efficiency and operational quality. Therefore, Fastweb has defined a four-year agreement with the subcontractor Concentrix.
