Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Swile startup announced the recruitment of 300 employees by the end of 2021 to support its development. The company has created an application to pre-order a meal for lunch to be eaten on the spot at work or to be picked up. In three years, the startup grew its users to 300,000, a figure it intends to double next year by continuing to target informal and very small enterprises (VSEs), SMEs and large groups throughout France. In order to succeed in sustaining its growth and ensuring the proper functioning of its products, Swile is also planning a wave of recruitments: 300 by the end of 2021, which would double its current workforce.
