European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Contract catering giant Sodexo subisdiary, Lenôtre, which has a catering activity with shops in the Parisian region, will be affcetd by job cuts ranging from 184 to 197 positions. Sodexo also announced a dismissals of 2,183 workers in its corporate catering activities (canteens) and at its headquarters.
The serious drop in activity in the organisation of events (conventions, seminars, weddings, and other events) due to COVID-19 restrictions and the reduced number of visitors to Lenôtre boutiques, are the reasons, according to the management, for this redundancy plan.
